Residents served by the Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) can take advantage of these valuable programs:
- Lawn to Garden Rebate Program
Rebate of $1 per square foot of lawn replaced, up to $2,000 for single-family homes. Front and back yards are both eligible.

🌱 Solano County – Water-Efficient Landscape Rebate
Residents of Solano County can receive generous incentives through the Solano County Water Agency (SCWA):
- $1.50 per square foot rebate (up to $1,500) for replacing a maintained lawn with water-wise landscaping
- Minimum 300 square feet must be converted
- Includes drought-tolerant plants, permeable mulch, and efficient irrigation systems
- Artificial turf is not eligible
- Application and approval must be completed before starting work
